Easter Day

We had a nice laid back day today. My Mom cooked a fabulous meal and we listened to conference and napped. We decided to have a little Egg hunt for the twins out back and it was so fun.

How cute is this. Totally unprompted Livvi puts my shoes on and then Simon puts on Dave’s.

On Saturday we went to the Davie Easter Egg hunt. It was fun because before the hunt they had bounce houses, a petting zoo and lots of little activities. We also had nana with us again this year.

Let the Easter Festivities begin!

A bunch of us decided to get together and have a little Easter egg hunt a week before Easter. The day turned out nice. Just enough kids to make it fun without getting overrun by the masses (see next Easter Egg post)

 

 

 

     

  

This picture is my favorite. Simon ran over here to try and “crack” his eggs open in privacy.  Later Simon and Livvi were wrestling on the grass fighting over their candy. *sigh* Too bad I didn't get a photo of that.

Christmas Morning

Good morning. We stayed home this year and had a cozy little Christmas morning. When the kids woke up, we told them that Santa had come and Simon comes running out, but Liv thought Santa was still here so she went and hid behind a curtain, it was pretty funny. I had to explain that Santa wans't here, but he left presents. They had fun opening everything. The biggest hit was the kitchen.....thanks Mom and Dad! They played with it for hours.....amazing.

Holiday Fun

Aventura Mall in Miami has some of the best Christmas decorations. We took the kids and headed out on the Saturday before Christmas to look at all the festive decorations. We put Simon on Santa's lap and he did pretty good, but they wouldn't let us take our own pictures....lame! Livvi of course would go no where near him. They loved all the decor though. The countdown has begun!
